Project & Volunteer Support Worker Vacancy

We are a local church based in a former mining area of South Wales. The project has been serving the people of Bargoed and making a significant difference to the life of the local community for the past three years; promoting health and wellbeing and tackling social isolation and poverty.

We are looking to recruit a Support Worker who will assist the Project Co-ordinator to facilitate the project’s events, initiatives and volunteering programme.

You will lead teams of volunteers to facilitate events, initiatives and groups at St Gwladys’ Church Hall and support volunteers as they implement personal development plans, identifying progression pathways within and beyond the Project.

The project is administered by St Gwladys’ Church. All project staff will need to work within the aims and values of the organisation.

The post is subject to DBS and reference checks.
