We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Chaplain to lead and develop the work of spiritual, pastoral and religious care for patients, their families and carers and staff across acute, community and mental health settings.
The Chaplaincy function sits within the Patient Experience Team, The Senior Chaplain & Team Manager will work closely with the Senior Manager for Patient Experience.
We are looking for a suitable person who will lead a team of experienced Chaplains and Chaplaincy Volunteers. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, sensitivity and a proven track record of hospital based pastoral care. Experience of bereavement counselling is also essential.
The role will also focus on professional leadership of the wider team and building and maintaining strong relationships with a wide range of people, including Senior Managers, Clinical/Non-clinical staff.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to bring creativity and innovation to the role.
Ability to speak welsh is desirable.
