Llandaff Cathedral. 11am-1pm. Festival LaunchSt Andrew, St Andrew's Major. 9.30am - The Three Churches walk. A guided circular walk visiting three historic churches in one morning. Refreshments available. Also our sister church of St Peter’s, Dinas Powys, is open as part of the NGS Open Gardens Scheme with classic cars and cream teasSt Michael & All Angels, Llanmihangel. 2.30pm. Local history walk from Siginstone, Victoria Inn to Llanmihangel and back. Led by David Harris who will tell a medieval tale of monks, fish pools and the Mill. Distance around 4 miles.St Thomas, Neath. 2-4pm – Open church event. Enjoy a cream tea, listen to the Blue Grass Band, or have a go at bell ringing and explore the church towerSt John the Baptist Troedyrhiw. 11am-3pm – Church open with tea/coffee and homemade cakesSt Catwg, Cadoxton-juxta-Neath. 1pm – Churchyard tour with Martyn Griffiths. Parish Registers will be available, as well as a tour of the belfry and opportunities to learn how to ring the bells. (There will be a display of information relating to the bells for those unable to access the belfry which is not accessible for those with mobility issues). Children’s Quiz and Church Treasure Hunt available throughout the daySt Cynwyd, Llangynwyd. Launch of the ‘Tower of Flowers’, an incredible cascade of flowers sweeping down over the church tower – all of which have been knitted by volunteers. Llangynwyd’s yarn bombing response to guerrilla knitting!

Byddwn yn ail-greu gwasanaeth o’r Hwyrol Weddi o’r G17eg gan ddefnyddio’r Llyfr Gweddi Gyffredin a’r Salmau Cân a gyhoeddwyd yn 1621 fel y byddai Archddiacon Edmwnd Prys, “Salmydd Cymru”, wedi ei arwain. 3pm A re-enactment of a 17C service of Evening Prayer from the Welsh Prayer Book published in 1621 with metrical psalms, as would have been conducted by Archdeacon Edmwnd Prys, the ‘Psalmist of Wales’.
