Ministry Areas in the Diocese of Llandaff are large, collaborative units designed to strengthen mission, share resources, and support sustainable ministry across South Wales.They represent one of the most significant structural shifts in the Church in Wales in recent years, moving from small, individual parishes to broader teams of clergy and lay leaders working together.What Ministry Areas areMinistry Areas are large groups of former parishes led by a team of clergy and lay people, created to enable more effective mission, pastoral care, and community engagement. They are built on the principle that collaboration strengthens the Church’s ability to grow the Kingdom of God.They bring together multiple churches and communities under one shared leadership structure, allowing teams to draw on each other’s strengths, gifts, and experience.
