Elections 2026

We are currently electing Lay Members to the Governing Body.

The deadline for all nominations is 9am, on Monday 19th October.

The Governing Body is the church equivalent of Parliament and makes decisions that affect all areas of church life.

Because its business covers such a broad agenda, the Governing Body needs members with a wide range of interests who can reflect the views of their local churches and report back to them on the work of the Governing Body.

The Diocesan Conference needs to elect four lay members.
