Bro Noddfa Newydd Ministry Area Unites for Lammastide Eucharist

St Margaret’s Church, Crynant, welcomed around one hundred people of all ages for a joyful joint Lammastide Eucharist in the Bro Noddfa Newydd Ministry Area. The gathering brought together congregations from across the Ministry Area in a warm celebration of shared faith, fellowship, and unity.

Lammastide marks the ancient Christian festival of Loaf Mass, when the first bread made from the newly harvested grain was blessed and offered to God. It is a moment to give thanks for God’s provision, to honour the rhythms of creation, and to recognise our shared dependence on one another and the land.

In the Ministry Area context, the Lammastide Eucharist becomes a powerful sign of community, reminding us that we each bring our own gifts, experiences, and stories, yet gather as one body to give thanks and to serve.

The service at St Margaret’s was marked by a strong sense of togetherness. People from different villages, backgrounds, and generations worshipped side by side, reflecting the growing strength of Bro Noddfa MA as a community rooted in shared mission and mutual support.
