Mr Evans Memorial Garden Opened at Cwmbach Church in Wales Primary School

Cwmbach Church in Wales Primary School marked a deeply meaningful moment as the community gathered to open the Mr Evans Memorial Garden.

The garden, created in memory of Ioan Evans, a much‑loved teacher who died suddenly in February, was unveiled as a peaceful and reflective space for pupils, staff and visitors.

Designed to honour his kindness, humour and dedication, the garden offers a quiet place to sit, remember and give thanks for the many happy times shared with Mr Evans.

The school community expressed the hope that the memorial garden will continue to be a place of comfort, kindness and reflection for many years to come, standing as a lasting tribute to a teacher who touched countless lives.
