Ministry Area Inaugurations

We round up the Ministry Area inaugurations that have taken place this month.

Nine churches gathered together for the inauguration of the De Morgannwg Ministry Area. The service took place at St Peter’s Church Dinas Powys on Sunday 6 February. There was a sense of joy and unity as people gathered for prayer and celebration.

On Wednesday 9th February, Cynon Valley South Ministry Area was inaugurated. An uplifting service with churches from Aberaman and Cwmaman, Abercynon, Cwmbach, Mountain Ash and Penrhiwceiber.

Cathays and Roath was the first Ministry Area inauguration in Cardiff on Thursday 10 February. The team are looking at apportunities to working together to grow the Kingdom of God.

Sharing the story of Christ was the theme at Pontrypridd Ministry Area inauguration, which took place on Tuesday 15 February. The service was led by Archdeacon Rod Green who spoke passionately about being Jesus’ church, and sharing him with those who have yet to be inspired by his teaching.

Congratulations to Llynfi & Upper Afan Valleys Ministry Area who were inaugurated at a special service held at St Cynfelyn's Church.

Rhondda's joyful inauguration took place at St John's Church Cymmer on Sunday 20th February.

West Cardiff Ministry Area inauguration took place on St David's Day.

South Cardiff Ministry Area Inauguration took place at St Mary's Butetown on Thursday 3 March.
