Diocese

‘Diocese’ refers to the geographical territory in which a bishop exercises oversight. The Church in Wales is divided into six dioceses each with its own cathedral in which is housed the cathedra (the bishop’s ‘chair’ or ‘throne’).

Young Faith Matters Beach BBQ

Join us Saturday 18th September for a BBQ on the beach

Young Christians across the Diocese of Llandaff are meeting up for a delicious BBQ on Newton Nottage Beach, Porthcawl.

Aim to be there from 2pm to 6pm. Sign up to the beach events and games or just come for the BBQ and worship time. It's all free.

The BBQ is organised by Diocese of Llandaff Young Faith Matters team who will be on hand to share news about their Enaid:Soul programme of young Christian events.

Steve Lock, Senior Engagement Officer, says "We've got great food, loads of games planned and we'll have inspirational worship time. We're partnering with other churches in the area and hope this will be a fantastic opportunity for young people to let some steam off and make some new friends after nearly 2 years of COVID restrictions."

All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
All attendees must register for a ticket.
Please make organisers aware of any allergies or dietary requirement when registering.
This event is organised following current Covid guidelines. Please do not attend the event if you have any Covid symptoms.
