Help is available to you and your church to target funding for projects – either for mission or for capital works.
The Diocese has a number of funding opportunities to assist. Detailed below are the criteria and application forms for each fund. If you are unsure of which fund to apply to please complete the Expression of Interest Form and send to Jan Boyce at the Diocesan Office (email@example.com or post in hardcopy).

1. Diocesan Mission Fund
The Diocese of Llandaff Mission Fund supports local churches, groups of churches working together, and deaneries, who are seeking to create and offer new ways of being church in the context of their communities or local area.
2. 2020 Parish Transformation Fund
The DBF have allocated £300,000 of the total diocesan transformation fund to the 2020 Parish Transformation Grant Fund. The purpose of the fund is to assist parishes with implementing 2020 vision initiatives and projects which truly transform the diocese. This fund is available via application by parishes from 2017 – 2019. £100,000 will be made available in each calendar year.

4. Community Development Fund
The Diocese of Llandaff Community Development Fund supports local churches, groups of churches working together (especially Ministry Areas), and deaneries, who are seeking to create and offer new ways of supporting their communities or local area through social action and community engagement/development.
5. Open4Funding (previously GRANT net)
Open4Funding is a comprehensive database of grants, funding and awards provided by an external company called Grant Finder. It allows you to search for available funding from more than 8000 possible sources as well as useful tips and advice on funding and related matters. Your search will automatically be reported to a contact in the Diocesan Office. Alternatively, a member of the diocesan staff can run a search for you using GRANTfinder. Please complete Grant search form, giving as much background information as possible and send the form to email@example.com

6. Insurance Excess – Multiple Claims
If a parish has made a multiple claim on their insurance policy in a 12-month period, the diocese is able to offer a grant to parishes to cover the £500 policy excess on proof of the second claim being paid by EIG.

7. Data Developments – Software implementation grant
A £500 grant is available towards the cost of initial implementation of the Finance Co-ordinator package (new users) in late 2017/early 2018.
