Once a fortnight, ‘The Lounge’ project transforms a classroom at Cowbridge Comprehensive School into a space where Year 7 pupils can meet and chat over a free hot chocolate during their lunch break.

Pedair Afon Ministry Area recently trialled a project which saw 35 individuals from two of the MA’s most deprived areas receive potentially life-saving training. 100% of participants reported an increased level of confidence to perform CPR and use a defibrillator following the training session.

St Fagans Church in Wales Primary School, in Michaelston Super Ely, has been commended in its latest inspection report by Estyn, the inspectorate for education in Wales.

Llandaff Cathedral has been named as the first Cathedral in Wales to be awarded the A Rocha Silver Eco Church Award. This award is a testament to the dedication and commitment of the Cathedral community to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Holy Cross Church in Cowbridge is hosting a festival of Angels during Advent. The beautiful and tranquil exhibition is centered around the impressive angels devised and designed several years ago by artist Anne-Marie Kers and made with the help of fellow artists Claire Carrington, Dawn Wesselby and support from local community groups from St Wulfram’s Church in Grantham.
